Cinesky snags the new Beatles drama ‘Midas Man’
On Thursday November 9th 1961, a man named Brian Epstein descended the stairs of a cellar in Liverpool and changed the world forever!
When music impresario Brian Epstein walked into the Cavern Club in 1961, little did he know that he would make a discovery that would change music forever….the Beatles!
Now the little-known story of this influential man is coming to the big screen in a new biography that charts his role in the creative explosion that the Mersey Sound had on the pop music landscape, worldwide.
Starring Jacob Fortune Lloyd (The Queen’s Gambit) as Brian Epstein, Rosie Day – Cilla Black and US chat-show host Jay Leno plays Ed Sullivan.
Filming has already started at the iconic London music studio Abbey Road and will head for California in January 2022 and importantly, the production is working very closely with the surviving Beatles, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr who have given it their full support so there will be a solid soundtrack featuring the Beatles original hits.
